In a crazy move, Uber, the mobile ride company, have unveiled their new logo redesign.
Uber’s success is mainly from the use of their mobile app to allow customers to request a ride, a business model which many rival taxi companies have tried to copy. The redesign is meant to reflect the company’s changes, even going as far as renaming the tagline from “Everyone’s private driver” to “Get there. Below is what the new logo looks like, the centred square is meant to represent the technology, whilst the thin line cutting through the circle is the customer’s journey in an Uber taxi.
