Spam Blocker Activated

So for many months I have been plagued with spammers trying to spam the heck out of me by sending comments, luckily I set it to get approval from me before posting the comments so all efforts from them haven’t been successful. At long last I have activated a spam blocker which should stop the amount I get, recently they have gone up so much. I have absolutely no idea why!
