Heineken has launched a new campaign called “Good Times Should Be Reserved” to promote its premium craft cider, Symonds Founder’s Reserve.
What has intrigued me the most is what they have used for promotion as part of their strategy. It was reported that the campaign is backed by PR and will begin in certain outlets in October and November. Their will be branded glassware, bespoke point of sale materials and mystery shopper activity. Such as rewarding bar staff for POS displays and product recommendations.
Reading what they have chosen is interesting because you get an insight to their marketing strategy like the use of incentives for bar staff that use POS displays and recommend the product. So giving something to the sales people so that they can promote your product is a possible marketing route.
